Welcome to Professor Summer Kim's website. This site is a collection of my thoughts on corporate law, mindfulness and parenting, and life musings.

About me

I teach and write about corporate law, corporate finance, and corporate social responsibility at UC Irvine. I am interested in harnessing corporate laws and regulations to create a more inclusive and equitable society.

I am also a lifelong meditation and mindfulness student. I recently completed my certification requirements for the 200-hour Radiance Sutras® Meditation Teacher Training. Meditation has been an important part of my journey toward and in motherhood.

I love being a professor and being a mom. Both roles teach me something new everyday. I hope to keep a record of some of those lessons here.
